Creating a Culture of Operational Excellence
The recent 2009 CIMA Global award for Best Employer - Medium Sized Company is a proud one and follows in the legacy of the ITV Business Service Centre (BSC) taking a Leadership role in many areas since its foundation in 2008.
This award recognized medium sized employers who demonstrate an approach to business based on employee development, creativity and empowerment. Employers needed to show how they support their CIMA students and members and encourage best practice. Judges sought examples of:
- evidence of innovative training and/or CPD schemes
- good support mechanisms /mentoring / training for staff
- Career development and the use of CIMA employees to drive strategy.

- 5,714 hours overtime in first 3 months – Resilience.
- Sickness levels less than .5%
- 95% impact on motivation
- 96% on satisfaction
- 98% on commitment within the centre.
