Having completed Roots, Shoots, and Fruits, I can emphatically state that the course was a complete success for me – what a catalyst for positive change!
On the first day of the Programme - Roots – I completed the process of aligning my values - personal, family, and business. What a powerful exercise! This process was the catalyst for me to begin to actualise my outcomes of becoming a serial entrepreneur. Within 2 days of doing this exercise I had registered a domain name for a new business within corporate entertainment, and within one week I had commissioned a company to design and develop a website.
During the second Programme – Shoots – I learned Reframing Communication Skills, which I have since put into practice and which have been extremely beneficial in my communications with clients. One particular example of this was an incident when I was interacting with a client who was expressing significant resistance to new ideas and options. By re-representing the situation, I was able to stay in a positive at CAUSE state; this altered the way I responded and, thus, the client’s responses. Ultimately, this facilitated a positive working relationship.
I have now completed the final session – Fruits – and once again the session was powerfully packed with practical and relevant exercises to develop and enhance my understanding of patterns of behaviours and responses; essentially the art of effective communication. As a result of this session, I now have an improved understanding of the different parts of my identity - especially my identity as a business women and serial entrepreneur. With this new crystallized understanding, I feel more confident and sure of my future ability to make effective business decisions and, thus, of my future success and happiness.
Just to say again that I feel the process and Programme is excellent and definitely works (if you want it to work!). I like the fact that there is a mixture of reading, discussion, writing exercises, as well as practical action exercises. It has helped me to absorb the information and the meaning of the information for me personally.
Again the layout of the materials definitely aid the learning and understanding, and it is obvious that you have put a lot of thought, time and energy into the creation – so thank you.
Overall, the course - Roots, Shoots, and Fruits - was a complete success
